Just throwing it out there... I think the issue maybe Sky / Mobile.
Found out MYGP direct website page that there patients aren't receiving verification codes for appointments and details etc.

Hi Craig. I'm having a similar issue. I normally access my emails via my phone, and occasionally on my laptop. Last week, on the laptop, the 2-stage authentification message said that it was sending the 6 number code to my listed phone but nothing arrived, and still didn't after several attempts. It asked for my recovery code which I had written down but when I did so it said that it was wrong! Up until Friday I could access emails via my phone but today it also said that it would send me the 6 number code to my phone but nothing arrived. Been on the phone to Sky (after suffering the bot for ages) and the agent said that it would take up to a week for anyone to get back to me. Said that they would give me £10 for the inconvenience but I don't want money. They said thay didn't know how to resolve this, but I thought it was just about turning off the 2-stage authentification?

@Guyver9069 to use the Recovery Code, you first have to tap 'can't log in with code'. Did you do that?
When you try to log in, and the system confirms that a Verification Code has been sent, the last 3 digits of the number it has been sent to are displayed in screen. Check that they are the last three digits,of your mobile number.

Thanks. Yes the number is correct, they've sent me some self help links on that number just now in confirmation. I've also been into my own Sky account and it lists the right one. The bottom line is just that this 2-stage verification numbers aren't getting to my phone.

@Guyver9069 the number shown in your SkyID Details isn't the one used by 2 Step Verification. The 3 digits shown on screen when the Verification Code is sent confirm where the Code has been (or should have been) sent, so if they're correct, non-receipt must be down to some other, transmission problem.
Just tried to log in myself and it might be a bit flaky at the moment - it took two attempts for a Verification Code to reach my mobile.
