Sky emails spend 5 days countless hours to try to open my sky email account

Trying to access my sky emails since Friday - spent countless hours on the phone to be told different stores 

1 the network down

2 two many times trying to access my mail told I must not access emails for 48 hours 

I am at my wits end as I am nearly 79 - emails it too worried but my files are very important as it contains hospital letters etc

I am trying to acess my Sky Yahoo emails, only  to be told there is a problem with the system and wait for 24 hours.   I have waited for 24 hours and the same problem happens -  the code that is supposed to appear on my phone to acess the emails eg. (69)  as a text, never arrives!  I've been locked out of my account for days and this is just not good enough.  Tried many ways to get into my account.  The service over the phone with your call centre is not fit for purpose in giving out incorrect information!

Have you tried signing in with the recovery code that you were given when you set up the two step authentication ?
