Sky email account not receiving 6 digit passcodes to my mobile in order to sign in to my email

I am trying to sign into my email account and after signing in it sends a 6 digit passcode to my mobile but I am not receiving these and can't log in to view my emails

@DMR2 when the Verification Code is sent, the last three digits of the mobile number it's sent to are displayed on screen. Do they match your mobile number?

 

You can use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification and set it up again later to see if the non-receipt problem has gone away.

Hello Mark yes the mobile number is correct however I don't have my recovery code unfortunately

Did you not make a note of it as it advised you to do onscreen ?

@DMR2 there have been a few other posts reporting problems with receiving the Verification Code, though it's not a general problem.

 

Without the Recovery Code your only solution is to call Sky and ask them to turn off 2 step verification on your behalf. It will take a few days.
