Sky Yahoo mail - drafts are being autosaved to inbox?

Yes Mike7628, that happened to me too - lots of copies of the draft message, each slightly different as changes were made to the draft - but the problem has gone away since I deleted the filter.  The filter re-appeared the day after I deleted it for the first time, but hasn't reappeared since the second deletion.  Or since I changed my mail password.  My drafts now appear in the Drafts folder, and only the most recent version.

I had this problem too. Noticed it this morning

I found under settings a filter under "d" that was sending all messages with "Hi" to my inbox so every time I had a draft with "Hi",  I couldn't edit it as it was being sent to my inbox ! Strange as I had not changed anything on my account and I most definitley did not set up that filter. I don't know how it happened!

Weird isnt' it?  I wonder if anyone who works for Sky Yahoo mail is monitoring this?

In the absence of any other explanation, I'd consider that suspicious.

I'd be changing my password, making sure it's a strong password (8 characters, and not a word or words you might find in a dictionary), and considering setting up 2 step login.

Yes, very weird. I can't believe anyone hacked my account because that would be a strange thing to do if you'd hacked an account wouldn't it? No other filters been set up just that one. Maybe if enough people have had the same issue Sky will look at it? Don't know if they monitor these discussions

Hackers are an odd bunch. There are certainly those who set out to scam you in some way, but there are also others who get some sort of vicarious pleasure from inconveniencing you, or from just knowing that you know they've been able to get into your account and change things.

I've now changed my password and set up 2 step verification so feeling much happier.

(Just in case anyone else has been following this and is thinking about changing their password ,because I had to check, you only change the Sky password and do not need to mess around with anything Yahoo related !)

Yahoo run the email service and as this is a customer helps customer forum it is unlikely you will see a response from Sky on here.

I have had the same problem since last week, of multiple drafts of a message appearing in the Inbox and not in the Drafts folder. I waited a few days to see if other people were reporting it. There is no sign that filters are causing the problem. This is a regular yahoo account accessed through a broswer, and not connected to Sky. It recurs on other browsers and operating systems, but no on the Android app.

@theskysthelimit if this is a Yahoo Mail account, rather than Sky Yahoo Mail, you can report it to Yahoo.

I've reported it to Yahoo, who know nothing about it. This is the only forum I can find where other users are reporting the same issue in the same timeframe, so I thought there might be some ideas here.

I am having the same problem with my drafts not saving to the draft folder. However, I can figure out how to fix it in the settings/

I'm not sure if you wrote "please enlighten us" to me or what you mean. 

I had written some emails and wanted them to be saved into draft. However, when I looked for them again, they were in my inbox and not my draft folder. Because they were in my inbox, I couldn't add to them. I had to forward them to the person I wanted to receive them.
