Password is correct but I can not sign into email on outlook app.

I can sign into my sky email directly through sky.com and yahoo mail but when I try to connect my account to the outlook app on my phone or try to login online via outlook it says there is a sign in error and that it is unable to do so or my password is incorrect when I know it is right. I have deleted the app and redownloaded it and have talked to the support team there however they told me to contact sky instead to sort it out. Any ideas?
