OK, who broke the email app passwords?

Sky have lost all my email app passwords. They've just upped and disappeared. I've had to recreate the passwords for two computers and my phone. Again. From scratch.

Not impressed.

I don't know what you mean by 'upped and disappeared'. Mine are still intact.

Re: OK, who broke the email app passwords?

It started giving me a password error yesterday ... and all three entries I'd added a couple years ago were no longer there.

Upped and disappeared.

Odd. If you can log in as normal via sky.com, I doubt it's anything Sky has done. Might be the apps or clients you're using enforcing OAuth2 authentication.

Have you actually checked if they are still there?

Go to: https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details, scroll down to Sky Yahoo Mail access and use the "Manage passwords" option.

Mine are still working O.K.

Yes, I have. There was nothing listed.

Fired up the laptop this morning and it's stopped working again. Apple Mail is saying "Logon to IMAP failed. Verify that the username and password are correct."The app password is still there this time. Although macOS installed an update overnight.
