As in the headline, none of my incoming emails are going to my inbox. I cannot find any settings to check. HELP!
Secondly, I have received a large number of emails, purporting to be from Sky informing me of a mail system change on the 25th March that inform me that if I don't open the attachment I will lose my email facility. These emails seem far from genuine and extremely scamish. Again help!

They're not genuine. Just mark them as spam. If you click on any link contained within these emails, they'll take you to a fake login page, designed to capture your login name and password.
Open Sky Yahoo Mail in your browser via sky.com (https://www.sky.com/signin/email), click on the settings cog at the top of the page, then More Settings at the bottom of the dropdown which opens, then Filters on the left. Delete everything there you didn't set up.
Typically a scammer who has gained access to your account will set up filters to delete your incoming emails or divert them to another folder.

Re: My incoming emails are all going to either my spam box or my recycling box.
If you do have to remove filters that have been set up then I would logout and change your password:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
You might want to give some thought to setting up two step verification as per this:
https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-yahoo-mail/two-step-verif/articles/two-step-verification
If you do set this up it in important that you make a note of and keep safe the recovery code.

Re: My incoming emails are all going to either my spam box or my recycling box.
Thank you for your input, the first paragraph answers my doubts on the scam emails. Great thanks.
The second bit though, I think that I need a little more help!
I cannot find the settings that you refer to. The only settings button I can find is when I drop the file list the topmost item, however at the bottom of the file list there is no "more settings" any more help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If you're using the Basic version of Sky Yahoo Mail, click on the down arrow adjacent to your user name at the top of the page, and select Settings., then click on Go.
Then go staight to 'Filters' on the left.
