Moving from Windows Mail to Outlook loses Sky & Netflix email notifications

I use Windows (11) Mail.  I have been told in 2024 the email system will move to Outlook.  I tried it and found that whilst I could move my Sky email address and my GMail one too, I don't know how to still get the notifications about my account from Sky and Netflix.  The emails from those two accounts don't have any way to transfer them to Outlook.  Windows 11 Mail will cease to be, so how will I get to know if there are changes to my account etc.  Any help gratefully accepted.  Thank you in advance.

If you set Outlook up as an IMAP account then all your emails should appear in Outlook as they were in Windows 11 Mail especially if that was setup as an IMAP account.

Not sure I've understood your post properly. But when you move from Windows Mail to Outlook, your email address won't change. so notifications from Sky and Netflix will continue as normal.

No, I didn't understand it either.

The move from Windows 10/11 Mail, is about a change to the client being used, nothing about the email address itself changes. Notifications (whoever they are from) will still arrive in your email account.
