Lost access to email account and can't sign-in via Yahoo
I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with SKY since yesterday.
My account was initially locked and I managed to get through to a woman called Shan in back-office who unlocked my account and I then had access to all my emails on my IOS Apple device. This was resolved at 19.50 last night, so I logged into my Yahoo App and emails were also coming through.
I then added my mail account on my other devices and not long after that I lost all access to my emails and was signed out of all my devices.
I have spent 8 hours today being past from pilar to post, department to department to resolve the issue and still have NO access to my email account and each and every time I attempt to sign-in which takes me via Yahoo it specifies that a verification code has been emailed to my email address which I wont receive as I have NO access emails. Nobody at SKY is able to resolve this and I have wasted countless hours getting nowhere. If I have NO access to my emails how the hell would a verification code sent to my email resolve this issue.
I honestly don't know were to go with this, as without obtaining the verification code verbally it is not possible for me to sign-in. I have tried choosing the option "Try another way" and it says Too many Attempts - Try tommorow.
Any one else experiencing this problem?

Re: Lost access to email account and can't sign-in via Yahoo
I suspect you may have the same problem as here:
Email locked don't remember security question also... | Sky Community
Which seems to be that it is Yahoo sending the security code to your Sky address.
Obviously that shouldn't happen, but sometimes does.
I think only Sky can resolve it.

Re: Lost access to email account and can't sign-in via Yahoo
I was getting the following message when trying to access my email account
Account problem
We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.
(Removed)
I have got my account back. I couldn't change my password as I kept getting this message
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/securityquestion/skycom/7b7a3a27782f4944515a4b57525569337a4d66756..." on this server.
When I was on the phone to sky one of the agents sent me a link to my hotmail email account to change my password for my sky accountit didn't work the first time as I got the above message.
So I switched on Norton VPN and followed the link again the link had timed out so I requested another and this was sent to hotmail so I used new link and managed to change password and then once that was done was able to access my email. on sky yahoo
Give this a go and let me know the result.
Take care and have fun Shell x
