Login to my yahoo emails and getting a message saying problem with account

Hi I have tried to use my yahoo emails this evening and after following a verification code process, I get a message saying that we have encountered a problem with your account please contact (removed) and this has an automated system when called that asks for my password. Surely this is spam and Sky arent asking for passwords via an unconfirmed number or automated process. But how do I access my emails, which I could yesterday!

It's highly unlikely to be spam if you logged via Sky's website online. The password being requested when you call is your telephone password, not any password you use to log in online.

If you don't know,, you don't have one. 

 

If you stay silent but wait on the line you may be put through to an adviser.

When we speak to Sky they will ask for a telephone password so if you don't have one tell them this as they should be able to ask you other questions so they can identify you.

 

Refarding this issue just tell whoever you speak to that your Sky online account is showing that message as some agents do struggle to unlock these accounts especially when they hear the word email so you might have to call them a few times before you get to talk to someone who knows how to do it.
