I have a new laptop and the email address auto-complete has stopped working

When I start typing in an email, Yahooo no longer rembers emails that I have used before and doesnt autocomplete.  I have followed the guidance to go to settings, more settings, contacts and then select enable next to enhance contacts.  I cannot find the option "Enhance contacts"

Not sure where you read that advice, but I don't think there is an "enhance contacts" setting.

Assuming you are using the webmail, the suggestions it brings up seem to be auto generated from your previous emails.

Try using a different browser and see if it makes a difference.
