I can't get in to my mail account which I have had for many years.

I have had Sky Mail for many years. But today when I entered my email address and password to sign in I was told that I can't open a new mail account. I don't wish to ...I just want to get into my established account. Any advice available as all the avenues I have tried so far have been unhelpful.

Via your name select the mail option from the drop down menu to see if you can login there ?

That is frequently a problem with the browser,

Try using a different browser and see if it works there.

If it does try clearing cookies and cache in your usual browser.
