I cannot get passed the send code part, which wishes to send a code to my old mobile number which is now deactivated.
Any ideas how I can work around this?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou would need to sign in with the recovery code to deactivate it. Then set it up again supplying your new mobile number.
So at the login select "can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.
