In the last few days end Aug 2023 , the preview on attachments in emails , have reported "We are having trouble previewing this file". This message is on all attachments incoming and sent. Until a few days ago it worked well. Any ideas ?.

My antivirus and browser are on automatic update so it is possible that could be the cause. There is a download button in the preview under the " We are having trouble .. " message which will let me download and open the files OK. Just another short cut that has gone.

I normally use Firefox , but when I tried Microsoft Edge it has the same problem opening email attachments in preview.

Exactly the same last week on my phone lost the ability to view word / excel files PDFS still working..

I am having exactly the same problem with Sky email on Chrome browser. It also started a few days ago but worked fine before that.

I've just tried on a different browser and it still will not preview.

Working fine in Chrome here, so it doesn't appear to be a Sky issue. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus software, and any Chrome add-ons you might have (particularly any DuckDuckGo add-on).

Find out moreAs @Mark39 says perfrctly fine here using Edge and Firefox. it's strange there are a few people with the same problem, there must be something common between you, so are you running any security software other that what comes with your operating system, and just what OS are you all using?

Just using the security that comes with the phone ... could be the latest iPhone update that's caused the issues

Hi, I am running Windows 10 , with Bitdefender and Firefox or Microsoft Edge. It is just the preview that will not open. I can open the pdf or Doc with an extra click on download. This has only happened in the last week or so. I do have an iphone but rarely use it to open any files as the print is so small.
