Email preview of attachments are having trouble opening files

I have tried several different browsers and also turned off my virus software but am still having the same problem.

As there are multiple people with different devices posting on this thread, it is confusing, but, @harryfive I also don't get a preview of PDF's. 

I do however get a preview of images. 

So perhaps yours is working O.K. (or at least as well as mine)

Also having same problem, not able to preview any files but can download. A friend of mine uses yahoo mail and is also having this problem. he understands that the tec guys in yahoo are trying to sort it out as it is widespread. I have tried all above suggestions and more and the problem persists. Also cannot preview files on my samsung phone

Very odd. Still fine here on Windows 10 and Chrome using Malwarebytes antimalware, and Chrome on Android.

My yahoo mail preview has suddenly started working again tonight on my laptop using  Edge, so someone somewhere has fixed the problem 😃

PDF's still not previewing for me on Edge or Chrome, but to be honest, I don't see it as a great problem

OMG, they are now working for me too, goodness knows what the problem was..

All of a sudden the preview has started showing again , as of 12th September 2023 .   Very strange.

Harryfive.  Hope all the others that had the same problem are now able to see their previews.
