Email fro Sky/Yahoo threatening to close account without permission if i don't take immediate action

That's not from Sky. It's an attempt to scam you. Just mark it as spam, but otherwise ignore it.

Not had any messages regarding update on my account and what I have just recieved says you have sent me a scam message.

Your post isn't very clear but if you have received an update email from "Sky" then it will not be Sky that has sent it but it will be sent by a scammer so mark it as spam and keep doing the same should you receive anymore.
