Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou will need to turn this off then set it up again with your new number,
To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code so at the login select "can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.
When you signed up to 2FA you were given a recovery code so if you didn't make a note of it then check the email you were also sent.
Help can also be found here on how to turn this off and/or change your number:

Hi
i have the same issue... ive had my sky email for 12 years ... i cant access mine because of the same reason my 2 step verifiction is linked to my old mobile number and there is no way i wouldve been able to keep my recovery code handy... I call sky and there is no option for just email ... i spoke to a guy who was asking for the last 2 digits of my bank account thats linked to an account that i dont have with sky... i just use the email ... i have no services with them and obviously because i cant answer security question they cant help ... so it looks as though ive lost my main email account ... this is why i wont go with sky for anything ... they are absolutely useless

It's unfortunate that you didn't follow Sky's recommendation and make a separate note of your recovery code.
