All you should need to do is to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of the usual password it uses, you can you can generate the 16 digit password here:

Being unable to send from my sky yahoo email account I've followed the advice and got a new 16 digit password. However, the instruction says to enter this in the mail app under the "incoming mail server" heading. In settings I have an "outgoing mail server" heading but no incoming. And nowhere else to enter a password. The iPhone (XS) has latest updates etc,

Close the mail app down, then on your iphone go to Mail > Accounts > Your account and see if you can see here when to enter the 16 digit password.
