Can't add email account to iPhone

Email stopped working on iphone mail app.  Followed the suggestions to delete the account in settings.  However, trying to add the account back and keep getting the message 'No password provided for "Sky" even though I have entered a password (that I've checked is correct in my password keychain)

 

Any ideas please?

Try adding the account by using the Yahoo option, sign in using your Sky email username & password & you should be asked to authenticate. If not then you most likely will require an app specific password which is used instead of the account password.

Try adding the account by using the Yahoo option, sign in using your Sky email username & password & you should be asked to authenticate. If not then you most likely will require an app specific password which is used instead of the account password.

On your phone have you gone to Settings > Mail > Accounts and add the password here ?

Thanks for replying.   Yes, I've entered the password and the "verification" starts, but that's as far as I get.  The error message saying I need to enter a password comes up.

Thanks Virginia, that worked - I selected yahoo previously but it offered autofill options that didn't include "@sky.com" so I thought I needed to use "Other" rather than Yahoo.  
But just continuing to type in the Yahoo option has worked.

Glad to hear. I was daunted when I originally tried setting up my account as I wondered if the yahoo option would accept a non yahoo account but it went smoothly.
