Can’t add email account after deleting it

Sky email couldn't connect to server so deleted it after checking I had latest update and now can't add email again

What problem are you having adding it back and is this via an app or program like Outlook ?

Tried to add on phone in settings. Add an account. Finally put it back but it is still saying cannot connect to server. Plus when emails arrive they are not downloading. Thanks

Have you tried using these settings when adding it, so select not yahoo:

 

Select either "Other" or "Not Yahoo" then use these settings:


Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes


Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes


You will then need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:

Would this happen to be an iPhone? Those problems are often reported on iOS devices.
