Blocked out of Email with account problem and unable to change password.as recommended

Since the 6th April I have been unable to access my email acount. I have tried to access via both sky home page and yahoo home page and on 4 devices using edge and chrome. I have been getting this message

Account problem
We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.
Please contact (Removed) for further assistance.

I phoned the number given and it is automated and it eventualy sends you a txt with a link to sky community.

I went to the sky help page for email and said no problem had not been solved and selected contact and got a new mumber

I phoned sky on the new number and was told sky.com accounts where no loner supported

I phoned again and was told it was a known issue with Yahoo and it should be back on line at the end of the week.

I phoned again and after speaking to an agent who was unable to do any thing I was transferred to another department after been on hold an hour. This agent sent an email to my hotmail acount to change my SKY ID password the link didn't work as I recieved this message

Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/securityquestion/skycom/7b7a3a27782f4944515a4b57525569337a4d66756..." on this server.

The agent then said I need to contact Yahoo

I found a number for Yahoo and called them to be told they could not access a SKY account.

Because it said " on this server." I looked that up and it said to phone sky with your IP address and told you how to look this up. So I looked up how to switch IP address and the remembered someone asked if I was using a VPN.

I switched on Norton VPN and  followed the link again the link had timed out so I requested another and this was sent to hotmail so I used new link and managed to change password for my SKY ID and then once that was done was able to access my email via SKY homepage

Give this a go and let me know the result.

Take care and have fun Shell x
