My account has been hacked or inbox messages deleted. I am able to get in trash and spam, all new emails going straight to trash box,
Anyone else experienced this and know how to retrieve lost messages if at all possible.
Thank you

If they are restored then it would be advisable not to store all your emails in your inbox, but instead set up seperate folders to keep them in.
As for the emails going to trash, make sure that nothing has been set up via a filter so go to Settings > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that has been then change your password here:

Ah, OK. So these are email folders. Yes, unfortunately as they're within your mailbox they can be deleted if you're hacked.

Go to Settings > More Settings > Filters and look for anything you haven't set up . Almost certainly that's where you'll find an automated divert sending new emails direct to your Deleted folder.
You'll need to do this by logging in via your browser here, on a desktop or laptop pc, or using a mobile device in desktop mode.
