wifi on mobile phones

We've recently got sky broadband but it doesn't always work on the wifi on our iphones. It's intermittent (fine on the computer). Some websites will work and some will start loading but then not load, so we have to use data to get on them. It's really frustrating. We had plusnet before and it just worked every time on all websites.

@yourturn4tea19 many modern phones have an option to use mobile data in place of wifi where that is faster. If you have a relatively slow broadband service but live in an area with good mobile coverage  that could be your problem. On iPhones the option is called unhelpfully WIFi Assistance and the setting is in the Mobile Data settings area but you have to scroll to the bottom to find it.

Thanks for this reply - but our broadband is quite fast. It's actually faster than what we used to get with plusnet, but we never had this problem before with them. There must be another problem
