upgrade in fibre

I have been trying to get through to sky without any lusk and wanted to know what does the engineer need access to when he is upgrading my fibre broad band. My router is not accessible at present. why does it say 3 hours for the engineer's visit?

If that's an upgrade from copper to full fibre then yes, access both external and internal is required.  If it's just a change in FTTP speed band then no visit is necessary.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
