My internet speed is incredibly slow over the last few weeks and not what I am used to, another speed check systems states 7.9 download and 17.18 upload, I have fibre and it is supposed to be superfast

update. I have 2 laptops and 1 phone on the network, no streaming of films, music and no gaming. I user It has now dropped to 2.68download and 16.68 upload. I work from home so this is an issue. Can sky answer please

'Sky' won't respond here.
If you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.
Note that it's speed arriving at the Hub which counts against the minimum speed guarantee, not speed test website results on a wireless device.

tried going to 192.168.0.1 but it fails with 'took too long to respond' message

I found the culprit, my work VPN was severly impeding the internet, once swtiched off the normal speed returned. Thank you @TimmyBGood for your help

That makes sense, and the VPN would also have been preventing access to the Hub.
