slow download speed and weak wifi
Due to persistant issues with low download speed and weak wifi we have just had fibre installed, but the download speed is still low and wifi is still weak despite most of our appliances being connected via ethernet, including the wifi extender which does not make any difference. Any idea as to what could be wrong?

@agb2407 Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Re: slow download speed and weak wifi
@agb2407 you have an Ultrafast full fibre connection so running a speed test with a single device connected by a direct Gigabit Ethernet cable should give a result of at least 140Mb/s. What result do you get? Tests run over wifi or while loads of devices are connected will often be less which is why it is suggested to run the test over controlled conditions. Devices not in use often use bandwidth to update etc
Occasionally there have been configuration issues at Sky's end but far more frequently with full fibre its issues within the customer's network .
