slow broadband speeds
Hi knowledgeable people
Once again I am having issues with my broadband keep dropping out and now it seems our speed has dropped to 50mbps, Our guarenteed speed is 100 Mbps and we were getting 150 Mbps. Done the speed cjeck and sky have now said they cannot repair it. They say there are no issues in our area and we are free to leave them.
2 years ago we were having the same issue and they sent out BT who replaced some of the copper wire into out house as they thought it looked old. The last BT engineer said that Sky should just change us to fibre to the property as it is available but Sky seem happy to just lose us. our issues usually happen during high winds and heavy rain our broadband just constantly drops. Any ideas what I can do to get Sky to get us cjamged over to FTTP ???? Clearly our copper cables are shot.
Any Help / advise appreciated.

FTTP is only available for resale by an ISP if there's Openreach optical infrastructure in the area.
An additional complication is that even where this is the case, Sky won't migrate existing G.fast subscribers to FTTP.

Re: slow broadband speeds
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

@ TimmyBGood
Had to delete a combination of numbers from the results but they were in the top lines. Hopefully I have managed to include the relevant data

Re: slow broadband speeds
Hi @TimmyBGood
Just thought I should print off my router stats as there seems to be a lot of noise on my line and may explain there is a fault which Sky cannot see.

Re: slow broadband speeds
You do indeed have FTTP avaliable to you. However you are likely stuck in the position where Sky seem to refuse to upgrade G.Fast customers to FTTP. If Sky have said they wont do any further repairs to your line then your best option is to just move to another ISP honestly.

Re: slow broadband speeds
just been in discussion on chat with Sky but the guy could not help so has passed me a phone number to ring them. I have had the email saying free to leave so I guess that may be my only option.
Thanks everyone
