slow broadband can not work its so slow.

Sky claim my router is recieving 156mb/s

3 speed tests this morning at 7am say otherwise.

the most I get whilst in direct view of the router with everything else turned off is 13'6 mb/s.

the other 2 tests show 6.9 and 3mb/s  I can not even download anything or update anything for my Photoshop or from Microsoft 

which i need to do.

please help.

@boogle365 can you test the speed of your hub on a device connected by an Ethernet cable? If you can that will provide a more reliable speed test or if you have a black Sky hubs posts its connection stats see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics

 

Can you confirm which speed test you are using as a few can give misleading results as they report MB/s not Mb/s (Bytes against bits) and have to be multiplies by 8 to convert. However assuming thst isnt the issue with your tests it is puzzling. Can you also say if you are on a full fibre connection or if your broadband is delivered over a  copper line.
