sky fibre drop in speed with attached access point

hi all 

current setup is ont box -> sky hub sr203 -> asus wifi 6 access point (all wired)

when i attach my mac mini to test the speeds the speeds drop (800mbs vs 200mbs) when connected to the asus wired but are fine when connected directly to the skyhub it gets the max speed. any reason for this?

so far ive tried

lan port to lan port from asus and sky hub

made sure i have a gigabit ethernet cable

not sure what else to try?

Sounds like a config problem on your Asus router possibly... Is QoS enabled?
