since changed to sky broadband mobile phone ran out if data

Changed to sky this month put the wifi on my mobile and my mums as shes on my contract thought that would be it, then discovered that both phones had used up their data allowance so had the expence of topping up then noticed that the phones keep disconnecting from the wifi then reconnecting so now it keeps using phone data when at home, I have checked the broadband on the testing page and it keeps coming up as good connection to all systems including the phones I did call sky and the customer service agent said the case will be referred to another department and it will be checked over the next 30 days but the thing is if it keeps coming up good connection on self tests what will they find and will it be corrected as I cannot keep forking out for extra data for 2 phones every month Thank you to anyone who can answer Kind regards

To stop the data being used when at home she should turn mobile data off.

 

If her broadband keeps dropping and disconnecting then she could run this line test:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
