Just checked our usage for the month of July and saw our household (5 people) had 3.5TB (terabytes) of data usage for that month alone. Pretty impressive considering our download speeds are just 60mb. Not sure how or why it is that high to be honest, but a couple of family members do a lot of streaming and watching 4K. Our average over the past 12 months as a household is apparently around 1.4TB per month.
I know Sky say that our Fibre is "unlimited" but are there excessive usage limits where throttling would come into play? If so, would we be approaching (or exceeding) that amount? I can't find anything in the terms and conditions but surely there is a limit at some point?
Thanks

Anyone able to shed any light?

3.5TB in a month is certainly possible: 60Mbs at full throttle could shift that in about 5 days (say a week with network overhead).
For some years Sky has been declaring that " Sky's unlimited broadband products are completely, truly unlimited, with no traffic management either "

@TimmyBGood @Chrisee Thanks to both of you, good to know. I know there will be households with higher usage than us, 3.5TB in 2022 for a busy household isn't unthinkable I suppose and Sky will anticipate more data usage every year with more reliance on streaming and bigger file sizes.
We've been averaging less than half that a month so think this was probably just a one off anyway.
Thanks

I rang SKY recently about our SKY full fibre and the operator commented that we were getting close to our 'responable use' limit even though its SKY Ultra unlimited.
I cant remember exactly what he said but i want to say 4tb a month is the limit for unlimited.

Something of a contradiction, surely ; )
