Re: Maybe spam email?
If it was this one then it was from Sky as they are replacing old broadband hubs, I had the same one a few weeks back:
At Sky we’re always looking to bring the latest innovative technology to our customers. As we do this, we’re always making improvements to our infrastructure to enhance both its reliability and performance.
In 2022, the UK government published a new security framework to make the UK’s telecommunications infrastructure more resilient.
In line with government guidance, we wanted to let you know while your hub continues to keep you connected to the internet, it no longer receives service and security updates. To review your options, including how to update or change your hub, visit our portal here. You’ll need to have your Sky ID and password ready to log in.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
@pavichal the link should take you to a page where you sign in with the Sky id linked to the broadband sccount then forward you to the page you require. Try a different browser or turn off pop up blockers to see if thst helps. If dtill stuckgive Sky a call.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
Me, to. The link in the email, takes me to sky.com homepage. I cant find anything anywhere in my account on how to upgrade the hub.
The url, behind the link in the email, is this:
https://t.newsletter.contact.sky/r/?id=haa3a8ef,fbf438a1,4a3b02ad
Possibly the id might be personal to me.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
Everyone with sky broadband is getting the email and only applies to you if you are using one of the old. Just go on sky site search upgrading hub, check your hub against the pictures and tells you if you need to change .
I check mine and says the below
No, I'm using a different hub
This means you already have one of the latest Sky hubs.
If you're upgrading your package, you'll automatically get a new hub if needed.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
Without seeing the letter we can't see what it says but when I did mine I was sent an email with a link to the IMEI site on it. If there is no link inthis letter then you will have to call them.
150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:
Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
Same here, I have received the letter today which is identical to the emails that have been mentioned on here. Been on my online account and there is nothing anywhere for me to click on to upgrade my hub.

Re: "Is this email from Sky genuine re. "An update on your broadband hub"
For those who have recieved a letter instead of an email, there is a link at the bottom of the letter -
sky.com/skyhuboptions
when you enter this into your browser it takes you to the page you need to check if you need a new hub
