new samsung tv only sees 2.4 not 5ghz on sky max hub

new samsung qn85d tv only sees 2.4 nit 5ghz band of sky max hub all other equipment are fine tvs phones etc . I have given the 5ghz band a seperate name. but use same password.

How far is the TV from the router? Its possible the TV is simply out of range of the 5ghz signal on your router. TVs can also often have much worse antenna setups compared to things like your phone.

@tms4829051948 Are you sure you have done so, did not think that the Sky Max hub had the feature for split bands and individual band naming at all.

Yes phone and pc plus other TV see 5ghz band with revised name and connect new TV 6m from router

@tms4829051948 Can we assume that you have the white sky max SR213 hub, and that you bought it by yourself and it is not an official sky have given it to you, so not tied into your account!

@tms4829051948 Thanks for clearing that up, wonder then if it is tied to your account, or just not done a FW update yet. Alleged that if changed before the update was possible, but as soon as sky FW update and attach it to the account, all blocked and changed back to the single name!

Logged into router on pc to check it shows both names and both transmitting almost everything grayed out and tells you to use app to stop bands transmitting it tried shutting 2.4 down TV then saw revised 5 band  but said it was connected only to local network with no internet
