My wifi is not working it's been on and off for the past two days, apperntly my little brother was jumping on the cables and possibly the box, but it was working yesterday 7pm till the morning, I'm not sure if it's the cable with purple or if it's the box, i've tried every connecting reboot and checked everything and nothing is working, it's christmas break so very devastating for this not to be able to work. even tried putting in higher up maybe better connection tried everything and nothing is working , green but amber on voice and keeps flashing orange on internet. @SkyT

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@yesenia if the issue is the cable connecting the hub to the incoming service socket you can buy a replacement for that from most hardware stores or larger supermarkets when they re-open.
If your service uses the copper phone line look for a "DSL cable" with RJ11 connectors. If the service is over fibre and you connect the hub to a Openreach box with lights on it then you need a simple ethernet cable which has rj45 connecters. Take the old cable with you so you can check your are buying the right one but don't worry about the colour of the connectors Sky only colour them to make it easier for people to know which one goes where.
If the hub is damaged you will have to call Sky who will send you a new one but you may be charged if your brother has damaged yours or they msy just ask you to send the old one back. Sky lines will be open today but despatch may take a while due to the holiday pstal strikes etc. The fact you work from home will not get you any priority.
