low broadband speed but fake service check broadband speed by sky
I have been checking actual internet speed by fast.com or internet speed test via browser and it shows 62 mbps around with all apps , software etc. but when I check with the same by sky broadband speed check assistance and its before check direct shows speed is 152mbps and speed is good. I think this is by default they have set for every customer. in actuality I am getting very low speed like 62 mbps. There is no option to call customer care over the phone. I dont see any phone number.

@Ntiny there is no evidence thst the speed check in the My Sky app is incorrect but you can easily have 152Mb/s at tge hub and 62Mb/s on a device as your speed check recordscthe slowest part of the connection which is often the WiFi link between the device and the hub. Speeds also affected by what bandwidth other devices are using when running the test and given apps can be updating etc when a device is not in use it is unsafe to assume nothing else is active .
To record a true speed test it needs to be run over a known high speed connection like a direct gigabit Ethernet cable with no other devices connected. Then you should see speeds around 140Mb/s after allowing for network overheads.
