My landline has been down for going on 10 plus weeks ever since bt were out down my road messing with cables, my next door neighbours went off too they have however managed to have their problem fixed i have tried making contact on several occasions and it still has not been fixed and nobody at sky will help its costing me a fortune on mobile to get in contact with sky. I have tried all areas in which is suggested i am fuming i am paying for a service that is not working and getting no help from sky. It even says our phone is out of service on calling it i am unable to call or recieve anything on it and am at a point of cancelling sky completly. I have tried on line and been told i have to call if our phones not working use a friends and no other help and when calling i have been cut off and fobbed off from department to department and then told someone will look in to it to just recieve a generic text and still not resolved i am at a loss.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt will be Openreach investigating and eventually fixing it. If you cancel your Sky Broadband/Talk subscription this will only lengthen the process of getting it fixed. Not that it's your main concern but this link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it, It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
