internet and voice lights on my router keep going orange and wifi keeps dropping. I've reset it from the plug and the reset button. It connects for a short period of time and then drops. I did the diagnostics on the website and it says it's fine, but it isn't.

Was that this line test that you ran:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
