incoming calls and wireless channel needing change sky max hub

Posting for a friend so that's the first layer of difficulty but here goes 

 

Rural setting ,two neighbouring properties .A and B

A ,my friend ,has Sky Max hub and uses a YEA link phone and adapter .

He got the Yea link prior to the Sky hub when switching from BT landline toa digital phone .

 

The phone only works intermittently and drops out but reconnects during incoming phone calls .

Doesn't always receive incoming calls .

 

I suspect Neighbour B is a much heavier user of internet than my friend and I wonder if it could be a problem with them using the same channel ( might be talking complete nonsense here ).

I see the Max hub automatically selects a channel and that one troubleshooting tip is to switch hub on and off to move to a different channel if trouble experienced .

But this can't be done for incoming calls can it ? So I wonder if that's why incoming calls are missed ?

Does anyone have any thoughts ?
