Sky broadband FTTC. I do not use a home phone. Only thing connected to the master socket is my sky router. Do I need to still use a micro filter?

I have heard of work vpn's not functioning on ipv6 therefore it would need disabled in that situation. Otherwise it should be enabled for functionality

So long as you are using the dsl cable with 2 purple plugs at each end into the master socket then that will be fine. Fttc can be provisioned via sogea where the sky hub is the new telephone socket. So you wouldn't need a microfilter. Is the phone light on your hub orange ?

At this time, I do have a microfilter connected. The sky hub has 4 green lights displaying.
So I can Just plug the sky hub directly into the mastersocket? My sky hub came with a gray cable to allow me todo that. one end has a white conecctor, the other end is purple. The white connector is larger so it can fit inthe master socket.

By the sound of things you don't need a microfilter. If the phone light is green it usually means that theres a phone plugged into the sky router.
Could you what hub you have. Is it the broadband hub sr203
Could you post your hub stats

yes it is a hub sr203..
but why would the hub have a greenlight if I do not have a phone connected?

No, I phoned up, they said I pay for pay as you talk, as long as I dont make calls i should be fine.
So I don't need a microfilter then? I do not use a landline phone. Microfilters dont filter the broadband? only if you have a phone connected?

You don't need a microfilter because the phone socket is on the hub 👍 So no phone no phone charges
