connection from router to I pad and one I phone poor or not at all
I have noticed TV has on occasions not connected to wifi but this is only v occasional and turning switches on and off works.
I pad has intermittently not upadated e mails or not let me get into google and yet is says wifi connected to my home wifi.
blue tooth on but wont let me connect my tidal music naim app dont know why...
myself and wife both have new i phones. hers does not let her get e mails and until recentlly not whats app. apple sorted whats app but still no emails. my macbook works okay 95 % of time and has black bars on wifi....
it would be so good to be able to speak to a human being about this but it seems 10 years with sky means nothing in terms of getting to have a proper conversation.

Re: connection from router to I pad and one I phone poor or not at all
@muchprosperity there are several thousand agents taking calls but several hundreds of thousand customers trying to call during the pre-Christmas period so lines get very busy.
Run a straight forward speed test to check the wifi connection to your devices. There are issues with devices running ios18.2 having issues with collecting emails Apple are exploring. Both my wife and myself have had issues with our Gmail, accounts not loading into the Apple mail app so we use the webmail option while Aplle sortvthe issue.

Re: connection from router to I pad and one I phone poor or not at all
thanks for this
i did speed test which was good and said should support several devices.
we use sky e mail yahoo...my wifes normal password is not working...i can send e mail to wifes phone but she does not recieve it ... when she tries to contact yahoo help on line cant connect... and there is a lot on the site about how yahoo ask people to pay for a service that is surely part of sky subscription.??
also i realize there are lots of customers and Christmas but maybe they need to employ more staff to justify what they charge?

@muchprosperity checkthe settings on your wife's phone as it looks like the setting called wifi assist is on which means the phone switches to mobile data if that is faster than wifi. The setting is near the bottom of the Mobile Data settings.
