Hi All, i recently upgraded to sky glass and was then offered SKy Fibre.
had City Fibre come round last week (Wednesday) to complete the instal but left without getting me online with the fibre due to what they say are compatability issues with the white Sky router they told me.
I rang sky after city fibre said to get a new router sent to me and they always have issues with the white router not connecting.
Sky have told there is a line fault, City fibre come round test the line and there is no fault. Tommorow will be a week without a connection and both parties seem to be blaming each other and going knowhere. i have an engneer from city fibre coming this evening after skyy sent me a new router but this one not connecting either. just have a pulsing green light.
City fibre will generally test the line and say no fault ring sky, sky say line fault book engineer. i have used nearly 40gb of internet from the piggy bank (got loads) but not the point. i am becoming etremely frustrated as every eveing for about an hour on the phone to sky telling me to swap wires send photos reset router press WPS button over and over with no foreseeable resolution.
How o di progress this?

@Amiecarter That is not an easy answer as you may have a fully working CF connection and the sky Max is the one letting you down but sky should see that and sort it out, as too third party without a doubt Asus ia the way to go for connection. Search XT8 on the Forum you will find a couple connection details i have posted up!

Re: city fibre & sky issues.
@Amiecarter First it was the sky Broadband Hub the SR203 that did not work on the CF connection which is a rubbish answer, and the white sky Max was the fix rubish to that also, now it's the white Sky Max that does not work so rubbish to that also, the CF/Sky blaming each other for the connection issue's is very irksome for the user. Unfortunate you are caught in the middle off it if the sky Hub's are just not going to connect and authenticate on the system you are well stuck! Have a read at the link below!

Re: city fibre & sky issues.
Hi, thank you for the response, i have just read the previous post/s.
Would a different router work ie a after market router? or would i still have same issue? if so any suggestions on which?
If not i may just have to try get a deadlock from Sky and change internet providers.
Frustrated is a current understament......................
