cant connecting my old OS 8 Lenovo laptop

Hi

My laptop is old but very reliable and is on Windows 8. it is connected prefectly to my EE broadband but now that I have moved and we have SKY it will not connect. It keeps saying that there are no connections and that there is no connection hardware detected. My phone, TV and all apps are working fine with sky it is just my lap top

Windows 8 is antique (released 12 years ago) and doesn't support WPA3 wireless encryption.

 

With a white Max Hub you'd need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3-T to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

 

Incidentally you really shouldn't be letting Windows 8 anywhere near the internet.
