is there a way of putting a block on router say for two hours to stop kids using for instance bed time

That's now provided by Parental Controls on the white Max Hub with a supplementary subscription to the WiFi Max service. It's not available on previous black Sky Hub models, or on the white Hub without the additional monthly payment.
