broadband with sky max wi-fi now but getting it connected to my sky q mini box

need to know once & for all does sky max wi-fi connect OK with a sky q mini box ask coz just switched to sky broadband (better price & speed)  & having problems with sky q mini box not connecting at all! From what am reading about recently in googling the problem in my quest to get help it will not connect & i should never been given this option with max wi-fi if i had the sky q mini box already in place

Sky now supplies Max to households with a main Q box and up to one Mini, so presumably they expect it to work.  It's still not available where there are additional Mini boxes or boosters.

super & ta for that info - its greatly appreciated -  read so much about it (in forums/google searches) Max not being compatiable at all but looks like then the max hub is ok for ONE mini-box only. Now on to learn since max hub went live how to get my home automation devices all to link or pair to Max!
