are sky routers wifi 5 or 6, and do they have a mesh solution?

are sky routers wifi 5 or 6, and do they have a mesh solution?  If so, it dual or tyri band. if not, I presume I can plug a wifi 6 router into the ethernet port?

Just wifi 5 ac. As much as we plead there is still no wifi 6 on the horizon

@AlfonsoTheGreat the current Sky hubs do have a basic mesh system when used with Sky Q tv boxes which act as nodes allowing devices to roam seamlessly. However it is pretty basic and is dualband. It only works with Sky devices but that includes the correct Sky boosters. Given Sky Q launched in 2016 it is now a pretty old technology 

 

One side affect of this mesh system is Sky Q minis can only connect to a Sky wifi system so if you install a third party mesh you are highly likely to get interference issues if you have Sky Q boxes there are ways round that but it is a bit of a cludge. This does not affect Sky Stream or Sky Glass.
