Your check says everything is okay but fast.com says I’m getting 3.6Mbps

My broadband speed is only getting between 3.6 and 8.1 Mbps and I am having to use 4g  by tethering with my phone as the signal is so poor.  This has been happening for a few weeks

Have you run these online tests to see if any external faults are found:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
