Xbox Series X is connected to the internet but NOT Xbox live only when using Sky router

I have an Xbox Series X that has previously worked fine using my Sky supplied router on home broadband. a few weeks ago I wasnt able to connect to Xbox live but the console WAS connected to the router and confirmed the internet connection. 

I have tried so many things I have lost count and need help now. 

things i have tried so far......

Turned off console for at least 24 hours (unplugged) then turned back on...

turned off and unplugged router for at least one hour, then turned on again

(tried both these things in alternating order)

I have reset console to factory settings and cleared cache

I have accesed router settings and turned off all firewalls/disables sky shield. 

ensured both console and router have latest firmware.

connected router to console using both ethernet cable and via wifi.

parental controls on router are set to adult.

I really dont know what else to try, the console checks confirm that it IS connected to the internet but the NAT type is "unavailable" so online gaming is not working, signing in is impossible, access to microsoft store is not working (basically all serveces that require access to xbox live are not working).

Yes, my subscription to Xbox live is up to date and current. 

Now, heres the rub, when i connect the console to my phones hotspot (EE network) everything works perfectly fine although terrible speed as I have awful reception on mobile phone where i live, this problem only happens when connected to the home wifi/ethernet via my Sky router which has been working perfectly fine for the past 18 months. 

has there been a firmware update that has caused this problem? has anyone else had the same problem?

please help.

I'm having this exact issue! 

when I go into the advanced settings, the IP address and settings are mismatched to the router setting.

Did you get a fix for this. I now have exactly the same issue.

@db83 check the setting for Sky's Broadband Shield in the My Sky app as that can block online gaming.

Yeah, I had a TP link extender connected to the network (up in the loft for home security) and this was causing the mismatch and drop outs. 

changed it to the sky booster and worked perfectly since.

Ahh ok that's interesting I have one in the garage for the same reason. I'll switch it off see what happens.
