Wired connection fluctuates to much lower speeds then I should be getting
First time customer, been with them 3 months now on ultrafast 450mbps package.
i have run an ethernet cable direct from the white sky max hub to a switch which then splits into wired connections for my xbox series x and playstation 5.
for the first couple weeks I was getting the 450+ that I was expecting (i was stuck with moderate/type 2 NAT type but thats a different issue), but then it randomly dropped to only supplying 95mbps on either console or a laptop when I tested it on there.
i suspected it could be the switch at fault, so tested just putting the 1 ethernet cable direct from the max hub into either console without the switch and again I was only getting 95mbps. I tried restarting all the internet hardware along with the consoles, and again still stuck at 95mbps.
i've attempted restarting the internet a few times and once or twice it has gone back to the expected 450mbps, but after 24 hours it goes back down to 95mbps.
i have cat 6 cable that was running virgin 1gb at 1200mbps at my previous residence so the cable is not at fault, and the consoles are both capable of these speeds.
Any ideas would be great as it is very frustrating not getting what I am paying for.
thanks
Charlie

When the issue starts occurring are you able to test with a direct cable without the switch to see if the speed is correct?
