Will the fibre cable run to the existing Openreach box?

Current implementation is where Openreach have run the copper cable to a boxed in chimney alcove terminating at the Openreach box.  This boxed area holds the Sky Router, and is where the internal CAT 6 cables run to a switch connected to the router.  My expectation is that Openreach will attach the fibre cable to the copper cable and pull it through.  The route in is under the eves across the loft space and down into the boxed area on the ground floor.  Has any with similar set up gone through a fibre upgrade?

@Ray_T It's on the day off installation, but by the sounds of what is involved just expect that not to happen as install's are 1. time limited, and 2. safety first, getting an Engineering installation team to do may just not happen for you!

Take a look at the on the day video for OR but CF would be a similar install!

As @GD1 indicates, that's extremely unlikely.  It's also bad practice because it permanently disables the existing metallic circuit before the route is known to be viable for optical fibre and the external installation has been shown to function correctly.
