Wifi to laptop dropping in and out, mobile phone used in same area functioning fine.

Laptop is getting quite old now and if moved nearer to router still same problem.  Is it a laptop age problem or a Sky one.  Originally was supposed to have a BT openreach line put in, but never happened so went for lesser system.

@80comingup

If other devices are fine then its very likely to be the laptop. Can you tell us the make & model of it?

Hi @80comingup

I got your PM regarding the model of the laptop.

It does seem like its probably the laptop to blame. That model looks about 12yrs old with a traditional HDD & single band WiFi which will be the main killer.
